With the Sayulita and San Pancho Private Guided Tour, you will learn how the sunbathe you, the sand embraces you, and the sea whispers to you with its melodious swaying in the waves. Together, we will discover an amalgam of colors, flavors, textures, and a multicultural experience in this beautiful, magical painting town called SAYULITA.
We will visit a fast look into Bucerias during the tour, which is 5 miles northwest of Nuevo Vallarta. Bucerias is your typical Mexican sea village that has grown with the influx of travelers through the years.
Sayulita is hailed as a popular bohemian (hippie), off-the-beaten-path travel destination. Sayulita offers various recreational activities such as horseback riding, hiking, jungle canopy, snorkeling, and fishing. Sayulita is a compact, primarily walkable town with 5,000 residents swelling past 10,000 visitors during peak seasons and events. It is infused with a sense of community that sets it apart from other small towns.
You will arrive in Sayulita from Highway 200 via the town’s main drag, Avenida Revolucion. The town is divided north and south by the Sayulita River, which runs through the center of Playa Sayulita; the north side tends to be less commercialized. The bridge spanning the river is often used as a point of orientation, and from here you are only a few shorts blocks to Sayulita Plaza, off Avenida Revolucion via the pedestrian-only Calle Delfines, flanked by the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe parish church and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops: festivals, community gatherings. And general people-watching takes place in the central plaza’s charming garden area.
Ich, Like all towns along the Riviera Nayarit coastline, San Francisco or San Pancho (nickname) was once a fishing town that’s grown into a primary tourist destination. San Pancho (San Francisco de Asis) is also a quiet beach town and has become a popular destination among younger crowds. Located just a few kilometers north of its big sister, Sayulita, San Pancho is smaller and a touch more exclusive, with higher prices due to the limited space available. It doesn’t have an overabundance of tourists; it’s a place to come for quiet, tropical relaxation.
